The project is a proposed Technical Assistance (TA) initiative to help developing member countries strengthen sustainable transport planning, infrastructure governance, and investment strategies. Key activities include diagnostic assessments, technical training, improved transport planning and project management, promotion of climate-resilient and low-carbon transport systems, digital transformation, road safety, and the adoption of sustainable and recycled construction materials. The project also aims to encourage private-sector participation, regional cooperation, and inclusive economic growth by strengthening technical and institutional capacity.
