Project detail:
The project involves the extraction of bentonite mineral through opencast mining over a lease area of 1.4169 hectares in Kutch, Gujarat. The proposed production capacity is 50,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA), with an expected mine life of 5 years and approximately 250 working days annually. The extracted bentonite will be supplied to cement industries and other domestic users in Gujarat. The project is expected to generate direct and indirect employment for approximately 9 people, primarily from nearby villages. It will also contribute to state revenue through mineral royalties and support local development through healthcare and infrastructure assistance.
