Project detail: 

The Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project 2.0 (TNRTP 2.0) aims to promote inclusive entrepreneurship and employment opportunities, especially for women and youth in Tamil Nadu. The project will strengthen the rural and peri-urban enterprise ecosystem through business development services, access to finance, skills training, institutional strengthening, enterprise acceleration, market linkages, and support for vulnerable groups. It will be implemented across all districts of Tamil Nadu, covering rural and peri-urban blocks. Key focus areas include agribusiness, food processing, rural tourism, garments, textiles, construction, digital services and other rural enterprises. 

Project Cost: US$ 120.40 million total operation cost. Of this, US$84.28 million is IBRD financing and US$36.12 million is counterpart funding.
