Project detail:
The project involves the procurement, operation and maintenance of 1,130 electric buses (e-buses) through 14 concession agreements in Maharashtra and Assam. It also includes associated bus depots and charging infrastructure. The project aims to address the shortage of electric buses, support greener and safer public transportation, reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, improve public mobility, and create employment opportunities, including increased participation of women in bus transport operations.
