Project detail: 

The project aims to promote Agrophotovoltaics (AgriPV) technology in Uttar Pradesh to support reliable and sustainable solar energy while addressing the limitation of land availability for large-scale solar projects. The project involves demonstration and implementation of AgriPV projects, development of capacity and knowledge among the executing agency and farmers, and preparation of AgriPV policy, guidelines and a development roadmap. The document states that nine AgriPV demonstration projects are to be tested and implemented. 

Project Cost: US$ 500,000 (Clean Energy Fund under the Clean Energy Financing Partnership Facility)
