Project detail:
The project aims to improve access to finance for MSMEs and low-income individual entrepreneurs, including women borrowers, by increasing loan volumes and outstanding loans. The ADB loan proceeds will support sub-loans directly to MSMEs and low-income entrepreneurs, with at least 30% directed toward women borrowers. The project also supports greater inclusion of women in company operations, digital financial literacy, and improved access to working capital for small businesses. ADB will catalyze at least USD 400 million in additional commercial co-financing.
Project Cost: USD 100 million ADB loan from Ordinary Capital Resources. Additionally, at least USD 400 million in commercial co-financing is expected to be catalyzed.
