Project detail:
The project involves opencast manual quarrying of Flagstone over a 1.61 Ha private-land lease area. Flagstone will be excavated using quarrying equipment, loaded and transported by trucks/tippers to end users. The proposed maximum production capacity is 2,200 m³/year, with an average production of 7.33 m³/day. The project is intended to meet the strong market demand for flagstone used as building material, aggregate and Farshi Patthar. The project is expected to generate local employment, with 5 skilled/semi-skilled and 7 unskilled workers.
