Project detail:
The project envisages construction of a 24 MW hydropower plant in Mizoram, including a 92-metre-high earthen fill dam to regulate water flow. The project aims to expand Mizoram's hydropower generation capacity, reduce dependence on relatively expensive electricity purchases from other states, and lower energy costs. It also includes institutional capacity-building activities for the Project Entity.
