Project detail: 

The project involves Black Trap mining over a 2.00-hectare granted lease area, with 1.94.43 hectares proposed as the working area. Mining will be carried out using a mechanized opencast method, with activities including digging, sorting and transportation by trucks. The proposed production capacity is 2,00,000 MTPA, with an estimated mine life of 7.29 years. Black Trap is used in construction, flooring, wall cladding, decorative applications, monuments and related sectors. The project is expected to generate employment for approximately 30 workers, mainly from nearby villages, and contribute to the state through mineral royalty and local socio-economic development.
