Project detail:
The project involves open-cast semi-mechanized mining of Ordinary Sand from a 2.00-hectare quarry lease area in the Banas River bed. The proposed production capacity is 57,800 MTPA. The sand is intended primarily for domestic consumption, with demand arising from road, railway-track, building construction and other infrastructure activities. The project is expected to provide employment to 10 workers, mostly from nearby areas, and contribute to regional economic development through employment and mineral royalty.
