Project detail: 

Purpose/Need: The project aims to establish local manufacturing of APIs and intermediates to meet growing healthcare/pharmaceutical demand, reduce import dependence, support domestic supply chains and contribute to regional economic development. Project Activity: Establishment of an API and Intermediates manufacturing unit, including production of the listed pharmaceutical APIs/intermediates. Capacity: 597.2 TPA. Project Size: Total plot area 8,105 sq. m and proposed built-up area 20,736 sq. m. Employment: 25–30 jobs during construction and approximately 50 jobs during operation. The project is located in Tarapur MIDC, where roads, electricity and water infrastructure are available.

Project Cost: ?55.68 Crore (Total capital/project cost; detailed cost breakup in the report totals ?5,568.81 lakh).
