Project detail:
The project aims to improve wastewater management in Muzaffarpur under Namami Gange Mission-II by intercepting and diverting sewage and treating it before discharge into the river system. The project includes development of a 16 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) with ancillary structures, one 16 MLD Main Pumping Station (MPS), rising main, interception & diversion structures, and 15 years of operation and maintenance. The project is expected to strengthen urban sanitation infrastructure and support river pollution control.
Project Cost: ?77.40 Crore (including GST), comprising ?49.00 Crore CAPEX and ?28.40 Crore for 15 years of Operation & Maintenance (O&M).
