Project detail: 

The project was proposed under the Namami Gange Programme for construction of Interception & Diversion (I&D) works and a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Narkatiaganj to intercept and treat wastewater from the Harbora River, Belwa-Sathi Canal and Pondai River. The project was sanctioned with 100% Central Government funding. However, due to high bid prices, tender cancellation, and significant implementation delay, the Administrative Approval & Expenditure Sanction (AA&ES) was withdrawn. No employment or infrastructure benefits are specifically mentioned in this letter.
