Project detail: 

Purpose/Need: To undertake granite mining for meeting the growing demand from construction and infrastructure sectors while contributing to regional economic development. Project Activity/Process: Open-cast semi-mechanized granite mining using wire saw cutting, drilling, excavators and loading of granite blocks for processing into slabs and tiles. Capacity: 36,667 MTPA from a 1.65.28 Ha mining lease. Employment/Economic Importance: The project will generate approximately 15 direct employment opportunities for local people, promote ancillary business activities, and contribute to state revenue through taxes and mineral development.
