Project detail: 

Purpose/Need: Merger of two existing manufacturing units followed by expansion to meet increasing demand for steel products used in construction and industrial sectors. Project Activity/Process: Manufacturing of Mild Steel Billets, Ingots, TMT Bars, MS Flats, CTD Bars and Square Bars through induction furnace, continuous casting and rolling mill processes. Capacity: Existing merged capacity – 5,300 MT/month; Proposed expanded capacity – 60,000 MT/month (36,000 MT/month Mild Steel Billet/Ingot/TMT Bars + 24,000 MT/month Rolling Products). Employment/Economic Importance: Total employment after expansion will be about 120 persons, with additional indirect employment and contribution to regional industrial and infrastructure development. 

Project Cost: ?95 Crore (Existing: ?43.35 Crore; Proposed Expansion: ?51.65 Crore)
