Project detail:
The project proposes brick earth mining over an area of 0.90 hectares to supply raw material for the proponent's 15,000 bricks/day brick manufacturing unit. Mining will be carried out through manual and semi-mechanized methods using crowbars, spades, JCBs, tractors, and dumpers. The proposed excavation capacity is 16,200 m³ of brick earth over a five-year period (up to 2 m depth). The project aims to meet the increasing regional demand for construction materials and will provide employment to about 25 people. Basic worker amenities such as drinking water and rest shelters will be provided, supporting local economic development.
Project Cost: Approximately ?5,00,000 per annum.
