Project detail:
The proposed project involves the development and operation of a new rough stone and gravel quarry over an extent of 3.52 hectares using opencast mechanized mining with drilling and blasting. The quarry is proposed to produce approximately 7,42,225 m³ of Rough Stone and 57,976 m³ of Gravel over a five-year mine life. The extracted minerals will be supplied to construction industries, government/public sector projects, housing, and infrastructure development in and around the district. The project will generate employment for 33 persons and includes supporting infrastructure such as a mine office, labour shed, first-aid facilities, sanitation, water supply, and greenbelt development, contributing to local socio-economic development through employment and CER activities.
