Project detail:
The project involves quarrying of basalt stone (gitti) through an opencast semi-mechanized mining method over 1.00 hectare of private land. The proposed production capacity is 8,050 Cu.mt./year. The project aims to meet the growing demand for construction aggregates required for roads, bridges, buildings, and infrastructure development. It will generate direct and indirect employment (approximately 8 persons) and contribute to regional economic development through royalty payments and support to construction activities.
