Project detail:
The project involves development of a Stone & Murrum Quarry over a 4.90 Ha private non-forest mining lease. The objective is to excavate stone (Basalt) and murrum to meet the growing demand for infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, dams, railways and buildings. Mining will be carried out using a semi-mechanized opencast method with drilling, controlled blasting, excavators and dumpers. The proposed maximum production capacity is 8,76,132 TPA, with total five-year production of 32,17,904 tonnes. The project is expected to generate employment for 76 persons and contribute to regional infrastructure development.
