Project detail:
The project involves the upgradation and modernization of the existing ONGC Nhava Supply Base (NSB) and revamping/strengthening of the existing jetty infrastructure at Nhava, Raigad, Maharashtra. The facility supports offshore oil and gas operations including rig movement, anchor handling, cargo supply, fuel supply, back-loading, and scrap handling. The modernization is proposed to improve operational efficiency, support increasing offshore activities, and future-proof the supply base without increasing the existing handling capacity beyond 5 Million TPA. The project will enhance logistics infrastructure, improve marine operational efficiency, generate economic benefits through fuel and voyage time savings, and create direct and indirect employment opportunities.
