Project detail:
The project involves Masonry Stone mining through an opencast mechanized mining method over a lease area of 3.9603 hectares. The proposed production capacity is 1,380,000 TPA (ROM), comprising approximately 1,311,000 tonnes of saleable masonry stone and mineral waste. The project aims to meet the growing domestic demand for masonry stone used in construction and infrastructure activities. Mining is expected to contribute to regional economic development, generate royalty revenue, and create employment opportunities in an area with limited industrial and agricultural activities. The project will provide direct employment to approximately 21 persons, along with indirect employment in transportation, maintenance, and allied sectors.
