Brief Description of the Project The proposed projects will process over 1 MMTPA of biogenic feedstock to produce Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (“HVO”) or Sustainable Aviation Fuel (“SAF”) in any proportion at Survey No. 103, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 112, 113, 124, 126, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209 210 & 111, 212/p, 339 (Part), near Kajurda Village, Taluka Khambhaliya, District Dev Bhumi Dwarka, Gujarat. The total estimated project Cost of the proposed project is around INR 5100 Crores. The production quantity along with CAS No. are provided in following table.
Need of the project and its importance to the country and or region The development of Bio fuel complex producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) or Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (“HVO”)/ Renewable Diesel (RD) through the Hydro processed Esters and Fatty Acids (HEFA) process in India presents significant opportunities for both domestic markets and export potential. With India's rapidly growing energy demand, its ambitious sustainability goals, and its evolving role in the global renewable energy landscape, SAF and HVO produced via HEFA could become important commodities for both internal consumption and global trade.
