Brief description of the nature of the project: Excavation of Granite Mineral in the Area 2.05.80 Ha. Having Flat Topography Having Contour of 179 (Max.) To 175.5 mRL (Min.) And Devoid Of Vegetation Situated Near Village – Oda, Taluka – Idar, District – Sabarkantha, Gujarat. The Lease Area Working In Form of Pits And Method Of Mining Is Semi Mechanized. Proposed Production is 80000 TPA.
Need for the project and its importance to the country and or region: The Mining project falls in the area of the district Sabarkantha, Gujarat where agriculture activities lesser then southern part of Gujarat and also industrial growth. The earning sources of the region are not much. The region has scarcity of water. Mineral wealth of the state Gujarat provides the employment opportunity to the people of the state. Mining is one of the major core sector industries which play a crucial role in the process of country economic development.
