Project detail:
The Morrum/Gravel and Ordinary Earth, Road Metal and Ballast, Rough Stone/Boulders quarrying operation is proposed to carry out by opencast Semi mechanized method by formation of benches. Suitable benches are proposed with a height of 6m with 3m width. The development of benches will be maintained @ 40° - 50°safety slopes. The area applied for quarry lease which exhibits Plain area.
The Morrum/Gravel and Ordinary Earth, Road Metal and Ballast, Rough Stone/Boulders in addition to its normal uses like size stone for stone masonry works, fencing posts, for production of aggregates etc., is getting an increased demand in the construction industry, due to shortage of good quality river sand and banning of the filter sand by the Govt. Authorities. in turn will help in maintaining the reverence eco systems, from the environmental perspective. No mineral processing activities like crushing, beneficiation etc. are envisaged within the sanctioned quarry area, except production of boulders.
