Project detail:
Brief description of nature of the project. The total M.L. area spreads in an area of 1.00ha. The mine will be operated to produce Mineral of capacity 24,000MTPA, once it is fully developed. The project comes under category B-2 as per MoEF Office Memorandum No. Total Reserves [Proved (111) & Probable (122) as per UNFC] of the Mine are 4,35,040MT (3,23,040 MT + 1,12,000 MT). No top soil is removed. The mine is worked by opencast method with proper benching. The life of the mine is expected to be 19 years. Further investigation may be taken place.
Need for the project and it importance to the country and or region. The mineral deposit is limited to Udaipur, Bhilwara Sirohi, Rajsamand, Banswara etc. area have vide demand for tiles and ceramic making industry in India and abroad.
