Project detail:
Brief Information About The Project : The project has been proposed at Village Patauti, Tehsil- Bazpur, & District- Udham Singh Nagar in the Uttarakhand with an area of 1.403 ha for the mining of Sand, Bajri & Boulders from the riverbed by open cast manual Mining method. The minerals are exploited with the help of a spade, tasla chisel, crowbar and Hammer etc.
RBM shall be collected manually by using hand tools & use of explosives & heavy machineries for breaking /connection of minor minerals shall be strictly prohibited the use of heavy earth moving machineries shall not be permitted for mining. The RBM shall be extracted manually with spade, chisel etc.
The loose rock materials transported by a stream downstream side are deposited where the velocity of flowing water is reduced. The sorting of materials takes place automatically as the large and heavier particles settle quickly while the smaller and lighter ones continue their journey further ahead.
