Brief Description of the Nature of the Project The area under consideration is fully exposed with a horizontal overburden of 0.5 M depth. It is (Govt. Revenue land). Mining activity has to be done following all the security mechanized methods. The total available mineable reserve is 2,36,107 proposed excavation is to be done up to a depth of 11.50 M Total -25,000 (Flag Stone- 15,000, M-Sand- 10,000) M3/ Year, production. As per MOEF notification no. om no. j – 1312 /12/2013 - IA –II (i) dated 24th December 2013. The project comes under the B2 category. Hence Pre – a feasibility report has been prepared for a final decision by competent authority to issue environmental clearance to the proposed project.
Need for the project and its importance to the country and/or region: Mineral Flag Stone is most commonly used in building and road construction. The basic objective of the project is the fulfilment of the demand for minerals in the region and effective utilization. Flag Stone will be supplied to nearby areas to fulfil the local requirements. After fulfilment of local requirements, it will be sold in adjoining areas.
