Project detail: 

Brief description of nature of the project : Mining will be done in a Open pit Quarry method way, i.e. by manual means and small machines no heavy machinery will be deployed. Now, considering the demand and supply and for governm ent project work of Limestone Quarry, lessee wants to apply environmental clearance for his mine lease for Limestone production. Hence he has applied as new project and sought environmental clearance for this project from SEIAA.

Need for the project and its importance to the country : The economy of India is the eleventh largest in the world by nominal GDP and the third largest by purchasing power parity. The primary reason for the economic growth can be attributed to the growth in infrastructural facilities such as roads, highways & buildings. Infrastructural growth is directly proportional to the availability of raw materials such as soil, Limestone , sand etc. With the growing infrastructural requirement of the India, the demand of raw materials has increased geometrically. The Limestone is required in various construction activities and will be sold to nearby markets to fulfill the requirement of local people.
