Project detail:
This Mine is opencast mine of Minor Mineral (Building stone, Murrum etc). Opencast mining operation comprises of various activities related to Drilling, Blasting and material handling i.e Loading and Transportation of Mineral which are potential sources of environmental pollution. In the following chapters potential effect of the mining activities on environment has been described. Environment Management Plan (EMP) is a site specific plan developed to ensure that the project is implemented in an environmentally sustainable manner and to understand the potential environmental risks a rising from the proposed project and take appropriate actions to minimize those risks. EMP also ensures that the project implementation is carried out in accordance with the planned design and by taking appropriate mitigation to reduce adverse environmental impacts during the project’s life cycle.
