Brief Description of Nature of Project : The proposed Laxmiposi Sand Bed Area over 12.35 acres or 4.99ha in village Laxmiposi Tahasil-Jamda, District Mayurbhanj is to be granted to the successful bidder through auction process on long term lease by the Mining officer,Mayurbhanj after obtaining all statutory clearances. on behalf of Government of Odisha in accordance with the provision of the Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2016 through long.
Need for the Project and Its Importance to the Country and the Region : The need and the importance of this Sand Bed Project are mainly for the construction infrastructural development of the area. The sand excavated from the quarry is carried to the domestic market for sale and to be used in construction of house and road.
