Brief Description of Nature of Project: This is an Existing mine having EC vide letter no. DEIAA/AWR/File No/258/2016- 17/2164 on dated 09.07.2016. Now proposed for Re-appraisal of EC granted by DEIAA to SEIAA in compliance of MoEF&CC O.M. dated 28.04.2023 & Hon’ble NGT order dated 07.12.2022 of Marble Stone (Minor Mineral) and as per EIA notification dated 14 September 2006 and its amendments, this project fall under category “B2”.The lease area is 1.0 Ha. This is an Existing mining lease for mineral Marble, M.L.No. 30/1996, Production Capacity of 1,80,000 TPA, located near Village - Jhiri, Tehsil- Thanagazi, District – Alwar (Rajasthan).

Need for the project and its importance to the country and region Alwar district in the northeast bordering Haryana, Covers an Area of 8380 Km2. The district has ten tehsils namely Alwar, Bahror, Bansur, Ramgarh, Kishangarh bas, Lachhmangarh, Mandawar, Rajgarh, Thana Ghazi and Tijara, falling in Survey of India degree Sheets 54 A, E and 53 D. Large area of district however, falls in the degree sheet 54 A and forms a part of the National Capital Region.

Project Cost : Rs. 30 Lac.
