The proposed Jaragali Black Trap Mine, near Village – Jaragali, Taluka- Gir Gadhada and District Gir Somnath , (Gujarat) has been granted to Sh. Gautamgiri Sureshgiri S/O.Sureshgiri Gouswami. The area is 1.00 Hect. The total capacity has been anticipated to be 40,000 TPA.

The Black trap area near Jaragali is a hub for Black Trap extraction. There are various projects for production of Black trap in the area. The Black trap industry is a thriving industry because of prolific use of Black trap in building industry. The project is aimed at producing Black trap slabs from the lease area.
