Project detail:
The project has been proposed for mining of Ordinary Sand by adopting opencast semi mechanized mining method. The mining area being a compact deposit of river sand and to extract the same from this deposit, opencast method of mining will be used. Extraction of sand will be carried out up to a maximum depth of 0.6m. Use of explosives for mining is not required. Estimated project cost is Rs. 1.56 Cr.
The mining project falls in the Village – Ranpur Vachlovas, Taluka – Deesa, Banaskantha, District of Gujarat, and the area is devoid of industrial growth. Agriculture is only major source of livelihood for the people. Mining is core sector pushes infrastructure development (roads, buildings, bridges and multiplexes), providing employment for village people and sand is used as ingredient for other industries (tiles, cement, ceramics etc. Minerals plays crucial role in the process of country economic development. The basic objective of the project is the effective utilization of minerals for the infrastructure and industrial development in this region or country.
