Brief Description of Nature of Project. The project has been applied for process obtaining environmental clearance. Sandstone deposit occurs in one variety only i.e. splittable. The entire deposit is laminated. Thickness between two cleavage planes varies from 0.6 to 15 m. The splittablity of stone is decided by the presence of bedding plane, whose separation decides the thickness of the slabs, which are used in roof. Vertical joints are the other weakness planes, which traversed throughout the field. The distance between such joints varies place to plac.
