Project detail:
The proposed project of 6.58 Ha is of river bed sand mining and falls under Category- “B1” as per by EIA Notification, 2006 and its subsequent amendments, Ministry of Environment Forests & Climate Change, GOI. Sand Mining Project, Sand Mining Project, Block- 22 (Paroriya) Sand Ghat of District- Nawada, State-Bihar. The proposed project activity will be carried out on the dry river bed. Brief description of the nature of the project : It has been proposed to collect approximately 78960 CUM per annum or 142128 TPA of sand from available area. No mining activity will be undertaken during the monsoon season. So the material will be replenished during the monsoon season every year.
Project Cost : The total cost of project would be around Rs.39593000/- (3.9593 Crore 0r 395.93 lakhs).
