Project detail:
It is a proposal of Sand Stone quarrying; it contains Sand Stone which is used in building construction and construction of infrastructures and road, railways etc. 3.3 Demand - Supply Gap: As and Stone is used as basic raw material in construction of building and infrastructure projects, the demand of Sand Stone is increasing day by day. In past, demand was not too much but now a days due to rapid industrialization and urbanization its demand increasing with pace of time. At present, demand of Sand Stone is more than the supply. 3.4 Imports vs. Indigenous Production: In Morbi of Gujarat, a number of Sand Stone mines are there. There is abundance of Sand Stone in the area; it had become a major source of economy in the area/region.
