Environment Management Plan for Maitra Gypsum Mine Lease area- 3.0 ha Production capacity-8,123 cum/annum or 18,682 tpa mining project - category- b2 village: maitra, tehsil- ramban district- ramban, u.t. - jammu & kashmir.

This mining lease of Minor Mineral was granted in favor of Sri Syed Najmul Hassan KazmiS/o Syed Ishtiaq Hussain Kazmion dated 09.08.2001 for a period of 20 year (i.e. up to 08.08.2021). The Lease period has expired on dated 08.08.2021 &Leasee submitted application for renewal of mine lease for which Govt. issued an order vide letter No. ME/DGM/ML/Gup/656/I/7107-7111 on dated 17.12.2022 and advised to submit the requisite documents for renewal of mine lease for further 5 years.Intends to mine out the Minor Mineral from the area of about 3.0 Ha, Village- Maitra, Tehsil- Ramban, District- Ramban, U.T. - Jammu & Kashmir.

The proposed project is open cast Semi Mechanized mining. Proposed Production of Gypsum is 8,123 cum/annum or 18,682 TPA. The proposed project area is of 3.0ha.
