Project Detail:

Administrative Approval and Expenditure Sanction for Interception and Diversion (I&D) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)Scheme for Buxar town, Bihar under Namami Gange Mission - II.

The State Government confirmed that after the implementation of this project, no untreated drains will fall into the river Ganga from Buxar town.

The bidding would be completed within a period of 4 months from the date of issue of AA&ES; and the total time for completion of the project excluding bidding will be 24 months (21 months for the construction period and 3 months for the trial run).

The bids would be invited on a technology-neutral basis.

Total Project Cost: Cr. 257.03
