Administrative Approval and Expenditure Sanction for the Project I&D and STP Project at Mirzapur in UP under Namami Gange Mission - Il.
The revision has been considered for approval in view of a. The request by the State Government for amendment in Concessionaire's scope of works due the site-specific constraints, avoiding overlap of works and additional scope of works required to be implemented as brought out by the executing agency (UP Jal Nigam-Rural).
b. The assertion from the State representative indicating that the de-scoping does not affect the objectives of the Project and that the effluent line extension is required due to changed location for discharge of the treated effluent.
c. Confirmation from the State representative that after the completion of the works, no untreated sewage would be discharged into the River Ganga from Mirzapur.
Total Project Cost: Cr. 147.3288
