Integrated Eco Tourism and Sustainable Agri based Livelihood Development Project in Meghalaya.

Project Rationale and Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy Impact (i) Propel green growth by becoming leader in eco-tourism and climate-resilient agriculture by protecting its natural resources, and expanding forest cover; (ii) create a preferred eco-tourism destination, driving growth, generating employment and entrepreneurship with sustainability at its core; and (iii) over two times increase in farmers' income without compromising on biodiversity, soil and water resources.
