Promoting Gender Transformative and Socially Inclusive Results in South Asia.
The TA will provide strategic support to ADB operations in South Asian Developing Member Countries (DMCs) to promote gender transformative and socially inclusive results. To strengthen gender mainstreaming in ADB operations in South Asia, the TA will support timely and effective monitoring and reporting of project results, analyze current good practices to inform project designs, and identify required actions for enhancing implementation and reporting on project gender action plans (GAPs)/gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) action plans. The TA will also enhance knowledge and capacity-building on gender and emerging issues and persistent challenges such as climate change adaptation, just energy transition, and labor market participation, particularly in the green economy.
