Supporting Climate Resilient and Low Carbon Health Systems through the Climate and Health Initiative: Sub project 1 - Leveraging the ADB Climate and He.
The cluster technical assistance (TA) will support developing member countries (DMCs) of the Asian Development (ADB) in accelerating the transition to low-carbon health systems that are resilient to the negative impacts of climate change. The TA cluster will operationalize ADB's Climate and Health Initiative (CHI) and enhance ADB's capacity to provide climate and health solutions to DMCs. Project Rationale and Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy The TA aims to (i) improve knowledge and evidence of the health impacts of climate change in DMCs; (ii) build the capacities of DMCs to design and implement innovative, evidence-based, and gender-responsive climate and health solutions; (iii) develop a pipeline of transformative investments that will strengthen climate-resilient and low-carbon health systems.
