Details of Alternate Site Considered and the Basis of Selecting the Proposed Site, Particularly the Environmental Considerations Gone into Should Be Highlighted: As mining will be mineral specific and limited to mineralized area. Therefore, no alternate sites considered.
Size/Magnitude of Operation: Total mineable reserve is 127748 MT and the production capacity will be TPA from the mining lease area of 1.00 ha and method of mining will be open cast semimechanized method.
Project Description with process details & Flow diagram Proposed method of mining It is proposed to carry out the mining activity by manually semi-mechanized opencast method of mining with bench formation. The bench height is proposed 3 meters and width will not be less than the bench height considering the semimechanized workings. The required barrier along the lease boundary will be kept 7.5m as show in the Plates. Approach roads are available and will be provided as required up to the faces. Drilling and Blasting will be done in the pegmatite body. The blasting shall be controlled, so that it does not damage the Limestone (Flooring) block. The blasting shall be done on contract basis by the licensed person/agency.
