Project Detail:
The proposed project adopts a three-fold strategy to support GoR in the next phase:
i. Advancing the institutional reform by strengthening institutional, managerial, and fiscal capacity of RSHA by expanding its resource base, and identifying new sources of financing including accessing financial markets and commercial borrowings by leveraging IBRD funds and loan guarantees;
ii. Mobilize private capital to support achieving multi-modal integration, industrial competitiveness and reducing congestion through capacity augmentation of selected state economic corridors; and
iii. Implementation of road safety strategy and action plan including digitization and decarbonization of transport services.
