Project Detail:
Daksh is designed to facilitate improved institutional structures and enhanced coordination among stakeholders, including government departments, district, and divisional (skill development) committees, training institutions, and industries. The Program offers support in multiple areas, including conducting diagnostics, strengthening the current setup and management of the SEEID, plugging gaps and vacancies in administration, and enhancing process improvements. Additionally, it emphasizes the need for quality assurance and control. DAKSH will finance state skill gap assessment studies and encourage the adoption of a credit framework to promote seamless mobility between short and long-term skills training and the education and skilling systems. Overall support for setting up of the MSSU along with its 13 regional satellite campuses and 6 innovation hubs could be a key activity funded under the initiative to facilitate student mobility.
