Type of project including interlinked and interdependent projects, if any. The project has been proposed for extraction of stone from the Bajabati BSQ-1. It is estimated that the amount of total production of stone during the plan period is 210957 m 3 which is to be extracted by semi-mechanized method of mining.

The project site is located in Survey of India Topo-sheet No F 45 U 1, bounded by latitude 20°45’52.870" N to 20°45'59.480" N and longitudes of 86°6' 25.850"E to 86° 6'37.980"E. The description of the project site has been given in surface geological plan along with the mining plan. Lease area can be accessed from NH- 53 at a distance of 2.16 Km and is about 0.7 Km from Bajabati Village. There is no existence of public road or railway line within the lease area. Public transport buses and private buses are running through the NH- 53. Telecommunication facilities have vastly improved with the advent of mobile phones. The District Headquarters is Jajpur at an aerial distance of 24.58 km from the project site.
