Project Detail:
Type of Mining: The building stone Rough Stone & Road metal and Gravel in the quarry lease applied in the surface. Hence it is proposed to quarry the boulder/ sheet by open cast mechanized methods with multiple successive benches from the surface to reach RL 510m with multiple benches of 5 m height and 3 meters width.
Drilling & Blasting: Drilling: Drilling is accomplished either with wagon drill machine capable of drilling , blast hole of 102/115mm dia . The holes are drilled in staggered pattern with 15 degrees inclination from vertical.
Loading: the blasted material is loaded by excavators of hydraulically operated directly into the tippers of 17 T Capacity.
Hauling: Haulage from the quarry to crusher of the stock yard will be done with 17 T tippers. Water sprinkling on haul roads will be done with water tanker provided with sprinkling arrangement to suppress the air borne dust during transport.
