Project Detail:
This is a brownfield project proposed to manufacture Bulk drugs & Intermediate along with present production of inorganic product within the existing industry premises. The capacity of proposed bulk drug manufacturing plant is 16.25 TPM and by-products of capacity 22.51 TPM. This is in addition to existing production of Sodium Iodide manufacturing of capacity 1.5 TPM.
The location of the industry is adjacent to inter State boundary of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh at less than 400 m. Hence, attracts General Condition of EIA Notification 2006, it is categorized under ‘A’ project covered under 5(f) of the schedule to the Notification. Therefore, the proposal is to be appraised by MoEF & CC.
