Project Detail:

As mentioned in the previous chapter, the Proposed Borkhedi – Nayagaon Limestone Mine falls under Category ‘A’ (>250 ha) project as per the Schedule of EIA Notification, 2006 & its subsequent amendments thereof; Project or Activity 1(a) 3 Mining of Minerals having an area of 453.423 ha with Limestone Production Capacity 2.5 Million TPA, Soil: 0.17 Million TPA, Subgrade: 1.46 Million TPA, Overburden: 0.46 Million TPA (Total Excavation: 4.59 Million TPA) along with installation of 1200 TPH Capacity of Crusher located at Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh. It will be a captive mine and excavated limestone will be used for cement manufacturing in its interlinked Cement Plant. Opencast Mechanized Mining Method will be adopted.
