Project Detail:

Salient Features of the Mine- Joda East Iron Mine (Run of Mine) plans to expand its capacity from 12 MTPA to 19.5 MTPA (ROM) with total excavation of 22.94 MTPA and associated beneficiation plant throughput capacity planned to increase from 12 MTPA to 17.6 MTPA, The mine lease area is about 671.093 ha and will be operated completely mechanized by shovel-dumper combination, Some part of ROM is also processed in mobile crushing & screening plants located within Joda East Mine lease; The expected life of mine is 10 years at current exploration levels, The total overburden proposed to be generated in the plan period is 10.19 Million tonnes; Ultimate depth of mining is 486 mRL.

Land Requirement- The ML area is extended over on area of 671.093 ha with iron ore production capacity expansion of 12 MTPA to 19.5 MTPA (ROM) with total excavation of 22.94 MTPA, and beneficiation plant throughput capacity planned to increase from 12 MTPA to 17.6 MTPA in Joda East Iron ore mine within ML area.

The total cost of the project is Rs.1915 Crores.
